How Do You Spell Excommunicated? N-u-k-e-e-s-e

Waldini:

And I thought it would be Brown not Richardson who would be the off the field distraction.

Kiffin says wide receiver Nu'Keese Richardson and defensive back Mike Edwards have been permanently dismissed from the football team.
Guess Lane said, new day, new era, no toleration. No chicken shit I'm suspend you a half or a game against a weak opponent. Your ass is just gone. And that's crazy considering Nu'Keese had been their best receiver.

Gangsta D:

He had to do it. He already has little credibility and respect in the conference. If he let it ride, he would've been in the deep deep shits. The funny thing is how Miami fans were pissed at Shannon for not recruiting him last year. Sometimes you gotta look past the 4.3 time:)

Waldini:

Yea like check his backpack to see if he's carrying a pellet gun...

It is really hard to have credibility in a conference with Houston Nutt, Nick Satan, Urban Liar, and the Ole Daggum (Humbled) ball coach. But it took years for them to get that "respectability". I see what you're saying Kiffin needs to do some more violating, which considering his track record, we prbly in for a treat come next Spring

"Kiffin picks up recruiting violation number 4080 by showing up at the SEC title game with two local hs players"

Gangsta D:

The funniest thing of the weekend, which in retrospect shouldn't be funny but it was to me cause I'm an idiot, was the back of the Gamecock jerseys. Honor? Integrity? In the SEC? Not even Spurrier could look at that shit with a straight face:)

Kobe's A Phony...And Other Irrelevant Observations

Waldini:

"Why do you dislike Kobe so much?" It's a question, I've been asking friends lately. Even with LA winning, the boobirds have been out, saying wait til next year, etc. I started probing with one person and here is our exchange below. Only the names have been changed

FRIEND: I have no problem with the lakers
FRIEND: Just him
ME: that's usually what I get, it's him, which I still don't understand from people but say to each their own
FRIEND: Yeah, just like I don't understand how people support him
FRIEND: We are like Bush/Obama on this one
FRIEND: Of course, I'm on the Obama side :-)
ME: Kobe's one of the hardest working players in the league, if not the hardest working. On the court, it's like our jobs, aims for perfection, won't settle for less. Too many cats in the league take that privelege of being in the NBA for granted, never fulfill expectations, because they dont want to work hard. Dude puts in work, have to respect that....off the court, another subject but that same can be said for many NBA players about off court activity
ME: Bush was lazy and didn't work at his game :-)
FRIEND: Bush did work. He got a lot of credit for doing nothing. I don't know that Kobe works hard. I know that he has a lot of fanatics and that he really stands for nothing. Like Bush, his external activities get ignored. To me, it boils down to character and I can't believe how much he is glorified versus what he represents. I am sure others are dirty too, but at least they are not on this holy pedestal. There is too much I for Kobe. He pretends to be a team player, but in the end, it is all about him
ME: Kobe did nothing?
ME: What do you think of Magic? Jordan?
FRIEND: 'I really have no feelings towards either
ME kobe does work hard, ask Team USA, most of those cats marveled at it
ME: talked about it
FRIEND: I am just saying he is worshipped and it sickens me
ME: worshipped by who?
FRIEND: He is a selfish person
FRIEND: YOU!
FRIEND: and the fans
ME: only by Laker fans
ME: he's the most polarizing athlete in the league
FRIEND: I just don't think he deserves it
ME: either u hate or love him
ME: based on what?
ME: how is he selfish?
FRIEND: on his attitude
FRIEND: Yes
FRIEND: But let me think more of justifying my dislike
FRIEND: He might be a changed man after Colorado
FRIEND: I am still going back to my Sixers days
FRIEND: So let me take a breath and get back to you
FRIEND: I just know how I feel
FRIEND: Can't quite describe it
ME: that's the one I hear too, I can't describe it but I just do, all good, I mean I can't change anyone's opinion on Kobe, nor will I. I just try to understand the rationale

Funny stuff....

Da Realist:

Cause he's a phony.

Real simple.

Waldini:

What's phony about him? Just curious....

Da Realist:

If after all this time you don't see it, then we will never agree on it. You've seen it and heard about it but you perceive it as something else. So, we'll just have to disagree. For example, some of it was in the last Bill Simmons article. A small fraction of it. He's not phony to you. I understand that. That's why you're a fan. (Or is it the other way around?)

But he is to me.

Waldini:

I didn't say he was phony or not, I just asked the question why. I don't even bother getting riled, upset, annoyed, etc about it anymore, I just ask questions. Similar to what I did with my friend before. I was actually curious to what makes him phony. He's not genuine like past stars such as Magic or Bird or even his current contemporaries like Garnett.

I'm a fan of the Purple and Gold and anyone who wears it. And if you recall, Kobe wasnt in my favorite top 5 Lakers of all time either. Kobe is Kobe. Either you like him or you don't. Haven't seen anyone that generated that much on either side since I've watched basketball (wasn't born during the Wilt era)

Da Realist:

I'm just telling you that's why most people don't like him. It's one of those things you can't put your finger on but when it's there, it's there. People don't like phonies. Even if they are very good basketball players that can light up a scoreboard. There's no other way to explain why after all this time, there are still so many that don't like him.

It's one of those things that you can't prove either. That's why the pro-Kobe and the anti-Kobe people can't understand each other. Anti-Kobe people say, "He's such a phony. Can't you see it?". And the pro-Kobe people say, "What? Kareem did the same thing in 87. Prove he's a phony." Then there's the stalemate. Neither side can convince the other. Can't prove it, but it's still there. At least the perception is. And there is the line in the sand. I think it's more than perception. You don't.

He doesn't bother me as much as he used to. Not because he's changed, but because I just don't care anymore.

Waldini:

I will say the Kobe doing work doesn't help ;-)

Da Realist:

I never actually saw that. Didn't want to. There was no way we were going to see anything except what Kobe wanted us to see. Don't think I could have sat through Kobe showing us what type of leader he is, how he "instilled his dna" into the team, how he toughened up his teammates. Blah...

Waldini:

Nope the real Kobe would have been like during the Finals and the mic caught him telling Andrew Bynum to "get your mutha**** head in the game"

Da Realist:

Nah... he's too busy mean-mugging through the Finals to prove how serious he is. lol

Waldini:

You Got Some Brass, Son!

Waldini:

Why oh why?

Kiffin's profiles on the two social media Web sites Tuesday briefly read: "I was so excited to hear that J.C. Copeland committed to play for the Vols today!"

Copeland is a junior at Troup County High School in LaGrange, Ga.

Athletic director Mike Hamilton told The Knoxville News Sentinel an assistant posted the comments on the Web sites without consulting the athletic department's compliance officials. Hamilton was unavailable for comment Wednesday morning.

Gangsta D:

God, I love this guy. The entertainment factor is through the roof. I can't wait for September!!!!

Waldini:

He is like Spurrier when he first joined the SEC in the 90s. Didn't know when to shut the hell up. Of course Ole Ball Coach did get results in the 90s too. You know I'm soo hoping all of Kiffin's shenanigans do not come to bite him back in the ass...

Gangsta D:

Yeah but Spurrier won a conference title at Duke. Kiffin just has a hot wife:)

Waldini:

He won recruiting battles at USC for top talent (Waldini really is digging for stuff LOL)

Gangsta D:

OK. Go ahead and hang your hat on that one... Read more!

Rogue's Gallery: The Truth, Nervy Bosses, & Classic Material

Waldini:

Good story on the evolution of Paul Pierce. Fitting b/c I've been watching most of the Bulls-Celts and he has disappeared for stretches then out of nowhere drop 3s to either win the game or send it into OT. He proclaims himself as the best player in the game but he takes too many plays off for me. Good player but best in the league....naw

I mentioned that Olowokandi was "Nigerian for Benoit Benjamin." - LMAO

Speaking of which, I'm shocked Realist has not offered ONE single opinion on this series. His new baby bulls are growing up before our eyes, playing in the best series so far of the playoffs, prbly the best one we've had in years, and yet I see him posting Defensive Player of the Year 1993 videos on YouTube. As Ren told Stimpy "WHAT"S WRONG WITH YOU MAN!"

Gangsta D:

Pierce has disappeared for stretches because, although he's our age, he plays like he's 42. He has no lift. If he'd taken better care of himself when he was younger, he'd be dominating this series.

Da Realist:

Sorry bout that. You remember what Shaq said about Stan Van Gundy? About how he gets nervous and it passes down to his team? That's me right now. My manager is Stan Van Gundy. Dude is here at 7:30 every morning and works until 6:30 every day. He works on Sundays. He never EVER takes a lunch break.

And he's constantly micromanaging. Sitting at our desks for long stretches to monitor our progress. He's a nice guy and all, but he adds so much unnecessary stress to our team because he puts too much pressure on himself. He needs to learn how to RELAX. Damn. Go live date ain't till JUNE!

Bulls looking GOOD. Celtics are wheezing, but Ray Allen is putting the team on his back. Rondo too.

I still post on youtube cause it's my way of relaxing lol. Funny story... This lil dude was telling me last night how he loves Kobe Bryant. MJ ain't shit, Kobe's better in all areas, blahblahblah. Anyway, he couldn't come up with any proof or evidence to support anything he said so then he started hating on MJ. Said he hoped Ray Allen broke that f-ing MJ record and that would wipe MJ off the playoff books and prove how inflated his stats were. Talked about how he loved Ray and couldn't imagine anyone not liking him because he was such a good guy.

Anway...so I said, Ray Allen? The same guy that criticized Kobe and said blah, blah, blah???

He said, huh? When did he say that? What was he referring to? I love Ray! I can't imagine him saying those things about Kobe.

I LOL'd. Told him to do his research before starting to debate basketball. LOL Young ass nigga.

Waldini:

LMAO. Yes please tell him Jesus Shuttlesworth is not a saint at all.

As for the series, again I'm just saying. I know no one wants to say greatest series ever b/c it's a first round series but 4 of the 6 games go in OT. 2 of those 4 OTs are either double or triple. Last night had it all. Ray Ray going OFF, Heinrich making Rondo back that ass up (which is crazy cuz Rondo isn't exactly a small dude), The Truth needing stitches in his nose, Noah turning the Truth into the Poster on that breakaway dunk, Miller painfully and slowly wheeling down the middle to tie the game in regulation, Rose's phenomenal block on Rondo to seal the game.

Shit, Chicago was NOT supposed to be here LOL. Loving this series. I'm heated b/c my mother in law is flying into town on Sat. She lands at 7pm. The game is at 6:30pm CST. I'm about an hr from the airport. why Lord why???

Da Realist:

D V R -- man's best friend lol

Waldini:

You know I hate watching taped sporting events b/c some ass is always going to screw it up for me LOL Read more!

Pass The Ammunition

Waldini:

Man, I would have robbed some Magic player after the game

The Magic pulled the cruellest of April Fool's Day pranks on an unsuspecting
victim last night. The blindfolded fan heaved a half-court shot that he thought
was worth $100,000 (U.S.), and the crowd, in on the gag, went wild in the
moments after he let it go. Convinced he'd swished the improbable shot and won
the cash, the victim celebrated wildly. "I actually just got laid off from
work," he said, "but we're going on a trip." When the rug was pulled, he did not
look pleased.
Gangsta D:

Why would a CORPORATE entity pull a stunt like that during these times? If I was that dude, I would've cussed out everyone. Probably would've started a couple fist fights too. Dicks.

Waldini:

See it's got us upset and we not even that dude :-). Let's hop in the car and issue a Wonder Twin beatdown

Gangsta D:

If I were him, I'd sue for...I don't know. Something! lol

Waldini's Rant: Bitter Is Best Served With Krispy Kreme

Waldini:

I'm starting to see I'm more and more like Realist everyday. We both from the South, married, got kids, are Com Sci Hoez, and like Bojangles (He's frontin in public D but he tells me he's a sucker for Bo Berry Biscuits). I say this b/c I remember him expressing disgust on the NBA Awards, and I'm starting to feel the same...

MVP - Pretty much Lebron's to lose but I wish folks would stop saying he's doing more with less on his team. If that less includes a 3 time All Star (Zydrunas), a 4 time Defensive player of the Year/former champ (Big Ben), a #1 overall pick (Joe Smith), and current/former All

Stars (Wally's World, Mo Williams), then I'm scared of what more means. I'm loving Wade's comeback season but his inclusion in the MVP debate is retarded. Kobe put up the same numbers in '06, cat finished a distant 5th. This ain't the MLB

Defense - I almost choked when someone said Garnett was the best defensive player in the game today? Best? as in the top of the heap? Yea he made Boston's team defense better but best individual defensive player? I guess it's all marketing these days

Rookie - I rarely get caught up in this anymore b/c the race is normally over after a month. Don't think so, go look at the past winners. Name at least 2 people that challenged the ROY in each year...I'm daring you

Yea I'm ranting and that's cuz I got 3 Krispy Kremes in me....You got a problem with that!

Gangsta D:

My God! What the Hell happened to you? You've aged 20 years since Greyson's birth.

Waldini:

I know man. I finally hit me I was a parent on Sat when I took my son to the play center. Some kid tried to punk him by pushing him down and I told him to get back up, get your toy, and tell that kid no hitting....

Gangsta D:

Soon you'll be wearing shorts and sandals with black socks...

Smile! It's Vodka Time...Three Olives Style

Three Olives did me the kind favor of sending a free bottle of their Cherry flavored vodka. [Thanks guys!!!] In return for the swag, I promised to give a review of my experience...and here it is.

First off, I have to give props to the wrapping that the vodka came in. Very sexy guys. Now to set the stage, my girl came over to my place to take part in a scrumptious seafood feast and drink Three Olives Cherry vodka with me. After we finished eating, we popped in a DVD, got some ice, two shot glasses, and a 2-liter bottle of Sprite. We have an intimate knowledge of the Three Olive brand, and Sprite usually goes best with it. So I pour copious amounts of vodka into the shaker, with only a smidgen of Sprite, and serve up the shots....DAMN GOOD is the response! My girl and I look at each other and say "Smooth. Very smooth." We then decide to take things to the next level, and omit the Sprite.

Cut to: ten minutes later the bottle is gone, we're buzzing, eating leftover potatoes and sausage, wishing Three Olives had sent us a bigger bottle.

My girl and I drink Three Olives all the time [no lie] and we know for a fact that you're not going to be in a world of hurt the next morning. Furthermore, every Three Olives flavor is good enough to drink straight, but you definitely want to keep it chilled. If we can get serious for a moment, taking a Three Olives shot with a lime on the side, may just be the best drink you'll have all night. In conclusion, Three Olives Cherry [or any of their flavors] brand is pretty damn awesome! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm on my way to the liquor store to scoop up another bottle. Read more!

Crooked Officer! Crooked Officer!

Waldini:

This has been the talk of Texas today.

A police officer was placed on administrative leave Thursday over a traffic stop involving an NFL player whom he kept in a hospital parking lot and threatened to arrest while his mother-in-law died inside the building.
Gangsta D:

Isn't Frisco where you live?

But yeah, that cop needs a good old-fashioned country ass kicking. He's the reason some people hate cops.

Waldini:

This happened in Plano :-). The good cops of Frisco would nev - wait what am I saying. These mofos in Frisco gave me a ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR speeding ticket for going 52 in 45 mph zone.

Yea all these cops can eat a fat one! Read more!

Don't Let Me Do It To Ya Dunny, Cause I Overdo It

Waldini:

I'm trying to figure out what was dumber....Darryl Morey's pre-game comments about the Laker offense not being so good when Battier is guarding Kobe or Artest in-game tactic of telling Kobe he didn't want any of him.

God Bless the Houston Rockets. The organization and fans have been personally providing comic relief for me since '98 :-)

Let me get back to searching for T-Mac's game...been pretty difficult to find for the past couple years

B. Reed:

Yeah the 4th quarter was pretty ugly when # 24 started to get busy. That's my issue with T-mac. When the game is on the line or it comes to the 4th quarter, you can count on #24. You can't say the same for T-mac or really even LeBron. You can't crown the kid king when Basketball's absolute best #24 has yet to abdicate the thrown.

Comissioner Stern:

Saw the last quarter of the game, but tivo'd it so i'll watch it again sometime today...I heard Artest shook the Black Mamba from the tree and paid a big price in the 2nd half!!!! LOL Ron Ron is too much of a vet to be doing sh*t like that...as KB24 stated "he knows better"!! LOL (qoute of the year)! Read more!

Got Your Game In My Back Pocket

Gangsta D:

I was just talking to a co-worker about my playground basketball abilities. I was telling her that when I'm on, no one can stop me from wetting jumpers. Then I had to clarify that no one on a local level could stop me. Even an absolute dogshit NBA scrub could lock me up. I said, "Even JJ Redick could-" Then I caught myself. Nah, JJ couldn't D me up. Could he? Even though he's an NBA player, and I'm an out of shape nobody, would it be embarrassing if I got locked down by JJ Redick? I'm thinking it would be kind of embarrassing.

Waldini:

I don't know man, you my patna and all but there's a reason they in the NBA :-)

Gangsta D:

I'm not talking about a regular NBA player, I'm talking about JJ "Freaking" Redick. If he locked you up, you wouldn't be embarrassed? Come on! And JJ ain't in the league because of his defensive prowess. Could I stop him? Fuck no. Maybe he can shut me down, but I would be mad pissed. It's JJ "Freaking" Redick for God's sake! Lol

Waldini:

With that compelling argument, how can I ever doubt you :-) Gangsta for Prez in '12. Mark it down....

I'm not saying he's unbeatable b/c some unknown cat beat Jordan in agame of one on one last year. I was just saying the odds. But ur right, his D is suspect. But that Jumper of his...deadly, well at least in college it was.

Gangsta D:

I'm not saying I could beat him one-on-one. I know for a fact I couldn't keep him from scoring. I'm just saying, if we played one-on-one with no make it/take it, and I didn't score a point, I would be mad salty. Mad. Salty. Read more!

Cornbread Was Bout It Bout It & Rowdy Rowdy

"Forget Barkley. Forget Rodman. Cedric Maxwell takes a fan OUT. What's even more amazing, Maxwell stays in the game! Can you imagine what Stern would have done with this?

Remember, this is the guy that will eventually become the 81 NBA Finals MVP LOL "

Da Realist:

Cedric Maxwell takes out a fan.

That is freaking hilarious.

I would LOVE to find out what that dude said to him.  lol

"Putting Up Will Smith Numbers"

Da Realist:

Brooklyn OG discredits Jay-Z.

He [Jay] has built this image of being a hustler, which a lot of people respect that. How can you negate that?

“To me Jay‘s a white boy on the inside, no offense to any white boys. But to me he’s a white boy on the inside and I’m only waiting for time to tell what he’s gonna do with the outside of himself … I’m surprised he should have done himself a favor by pulling me into his his team. How you gon let Akon pull me in, official Konvict … Akon provided the chance and an opportunity for guys like myself, to be in the position I’m in. Jay could have done that out the gate but he didn’t.”
Waldini:

Do you think Jigga really cares at this point? His inner whiteness has got his net worth the supposed cats in the streets would kill for....

Gangsta D:

Jay is so above and beyond that street shit, that it's ridiculous. Ten years ago, maybe he would've cared. Now? He's worth almost half a billion and he's banging Beyonce. Some dude that just got out of prison sending veiled threats isn't gonna get his dander up. Read more!

Bitter Much?

Waldini:

I wonder what Bruce's reaction is to his ex-wife's new business venture.

Da Realist:

Tacky. She's making more of an ass out of herself than him.

Waldini:

My thing is was it really necessary to come at him like that? I don'tknow what he did to her but dayum, this is on some waiting to exhale shit.

Da Realist:

She should just move on with her life. Why does she want everyone toknow she's a bitter old woman? 15% off if you receive alimony?? Allshe's doing is showing how miserable and upset she is.

Waldini:

you caught that too right :-) That's just wrong. Of course she'll end upon Oprah, the View or some similar type show and get kudos for being anindependent woman.

Gangsta D:

Reason #4080 why I'll never get married. Ya'll can have it:)

Waldini:

It ain't that bad man. It's not like wifey is about to open a sports barcalled Ben Dover

Is This Chick Nuts? You Betcha

Da Realist:

First John McCain messed up by snubbing David Letterman. Now Sarah Palin has even 1-upped that!

Don't mess with Oprah!

"I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to GretaVan Susteren. She talked to Matt Lauer. She talked to Larry King, butshe didn't talk to me. But maybe she'll talk to me now that she has abook deal." -- Oprah
That's about as far as Oprah's gonna get to calling you out. If Palin truly wants to run in 2012, she better get as many women to vote for her as she can. Oprah controls about 60% of that vote. I suggest she finds her way to Chicago ASAP and blame her "people" for not telling her Oprah
has been calling. LOL

Waldini:

Dumb move on her part. The same hockey mom/Wal-Mart mom she targeted for McCain are the same ones the worship Oprah. And if you trying to lay down a foundation for a supposed 2012 run, this would be a good start.

"The Whole Industry Can Hate Me, I Thugged My Way Through"

The Florida Gators are a better team than the Miami Hurricanes. That's just the way it is at this moment, not for much longer, but presently that is the case. However, when it comes to the fanbase? The Gators don't want none. Check out the video of a crew of 'Canes shutting down University Avenue, before the game last week.

Right now the haters are saying, "Pfft. Typical classless Miami behavior. Bunch of thugs looking to start a fight." You know what I have to say to that? You damn skippy! We might lose the game, but we ain't gonna shut up. We're gonna tell you about it...in the loudest voice possible. That's the Miami way! That's how you get Capone![Sorry, got carried away.]

So yeah, the 'Canes lost the game. Yeah, us fans are loud, boorish, arrogant, and ready to start shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Blah, blah, blah. You can say whatever you want, but the fans are gonna talk shit and swallow spit no matter what. Read more!

Monday WTF?

Monday WTF returns with some comedy and a little horror...sort of like watching Flavor Flav having sex, but without the residual emotional scarring.

Wife Swap - Upset Tummy

"I don't wanna do it at their death."
On this episode of Wife Swap, a family used to a raw food diet, partake of some good old fashioned grease and dead animal flesh. The cooked food goes down easy enough, but the next morning is a little rough. The kids are sick and the father turns into the biggest pussy this side of Vanessa Del Rio's crotch.

Big Fucking Snake

Yeah, it's a big fucking snake. I live in the country and encounter any number of vermin on a daily basis. Therefore, I have two big machetes at the ready at all times. Nevertheless, I don't know that either machete would do me any good upon meeting this bad boy. It's kind of hard to kill a snake when you're running top speed away from it, while screaming for your mama.

"What Did I Tell You? What Did I Tell You?"

I'm not married. But if I were married, I'm sure I would appreciate my wife listening to me. Sometimes, however, women just don't listen. Some people can be told, whilst others must be shown. The following video is indicative of the latter. At first glance you may think it's a fake, but I believe this is the genuine article.

Did she go apeshit or what?!? I love dude's "Come on baby," and the reaction is priceless. He probably didn't get any for about six months, but I bet she listened to him henceforth. Chapter read. Lesson learned. Read more!

What's That Ish You Smoking? - NBA Edition

Waldini:

We must be in the land of the stupid.

72.5M, 5yrs for Andrew Bogut
17M, 4 yrs for Ronny Turiaf
31M, 5 yrs for Desiagna Diop
33M, 5 yrs for Beno Udrih

I thought this was the year of common sense. I applauded teams last year for not budging when Okafor, Deng, Gordon, and Igudola all foolishly rejected their extensions, thinking they would hit the jackpot this summer. But then I turn on ESPN news and see these deals. If their agents are smart, they will use the above deals as leverage in getting big paydays. I won't even go into what's wrong with these deals b/c it would take too long (since when did avgs of 14 & 9 get you 72M???).

Brand, Maggette, B Davis, and Arenas all were overpaid as well but compared to the above, they deserved their deals :-). It's scary to think in addition to the players above, Josh Smith, Monta Ellis, are looking to get theirs.

Gangsta D:

Desiagna Diop got $31 million? Dollars? What is the world coming to? How does Bogut get $72 million? I swear if I keep working on my jumper, I can make a team. A sweet shooting, slightly [well maybe not so slightly] overweight 6-4 guard, with great interior passing skills ought to be worth $10M/3 yrs right? Right?!? lol

Waldini:

if you can still do that crip walk like you did in college, I give you 15M over 3 :-)

The c-walk hasn't gone nowhere. I can still cut a rug. Now about my signing bonus.... Read more!

What's That Ish You Smoking? - Mullin Edition

Waldini:

Ok, I thought teams didn't have any money.

After losing Davis to the Clippers, the Warriors are going after L.A.'s marquee free agent. Golden State has offered Elton Brand a maximum contract — more than the Clippers have proposed, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Now I see the Warriors are offering Elton Brand max money. Is this retaliation for Davis leaving? Is he worth it? Does it really make the Warriors better? I like Brand, despite his Dukie ties but max for him is crazy. And if he does sign, then the Warriors and Clippers management look like fools for dishing out all this money just to finish in the lottery again.

The 3 of us seriously need to come up with a businessplan to takeover an NBA franchise and run it.

Gangsta D:

Is this retaliation? Shit yeah, it is! lol I agree, it's kind of ridiculous to spend this money knowing full well the hand is stacked against you. If Brand leaves, I wonder if Maggette stays. He would be a fool. If Boston and the Spurs are offering, you jump off the Clipper and swim for better shores. Read more!

What's That Ish You Smoking? - Bynum Edition

Waldini:

I'm a Laker fan and I find this disturbing.

Bynum can get a contract extension this summer from the Lakers. When his agent was told that Bynum suggested he would be willing to take less than the maximum of five years, $80 million, David Lee said they would be seeking the maximum.
Gangsta D:

Not gonna happen. Probably should fire his agent before he gets laughed out of Staples. He'll get max money if he avgs 20/10, the Lakers win 70 games, and sweep the Finals. Otherwise, he should be happy with $10 mil/yr. Kobe didn't even get max money after 2000 season.

Waldini:

As of now, he's not a max player. I'm from that old school, I believe you pay for performance, not on potential. AB improved greatly, but max money?? For averaging 13 and 10? And missing half the season? His agent must either be the same one for Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, and Emeka Okafor or he's talking with those guys. Makes no sense.

I can only think of 5 players in the league today that deserve max money.

Gangsta D:

Bynum's not on that list? lol

Waldini:

" Dude stop getting high before you send these emails. " [inside joke]

Sorry I couldn't resist sending that. I read it earlier and just laughed. Read more!
