Predictions Bitches

Da Realist:

usc at oregon - oregon doesn't have the defense to keep it close. usc

colorado at miami - miami haven't really found their stride and i do think colorado is looking at this game as their one true shot this year at recognition. but i don't think colorado will be able to withstand that south florida heat for four quarters. miami

iowa at ohio state - i don't think ohio state will lose another game this year. troy smith is the clear cut starter now. ohio state

washington at notre dame - washington is just not that good. notre dame

ga tech at va tech - this will be a defensive struggle but va tech pulls out in the end. va tech

tenn at lsu - i don't think tennessee will make the same mistake they made at florida. they will run the ball down lsu's throats and their defense is good enough to bottle up lsu. i'm not that convinced of jamarcus russell yet. tennessee.

Gangsta D:

Oregon will hang for a minute because they can score and USC isn't as dominant on defense as they have been the past two years. But, Matt Leinart is the best QB in Cali (pros included) and they will roll in the 2nd half.

Watched the Clemson game on ESPN Classic last night. When Kyle isn't picking himself off the ground he can deliver the ball pretty well. Tyrone Moss looks like he's ready to take the next step. When the defense attacks they are dominant. It's just a matter of putting it together for 4 qtrs.

Said all I'm gonna say about the 'Bucks.

Washington is a pretty bad team. I didn't realize they only won one game last year. As much as it pains me to say it, Notre Dame will probably win.

With a healthy Reggie Ball, I would take GT because I'm still not sold on Ron "New" Mexico yet. But without a 100% Reggie, the Hokies will probably win 14-10.

UT has two QBs, so they don't have any. I don't know that their offense is as good as ASU's, but they're defense is probably better. So they're even, and I have to go with QB play. At least the Tigers have a definite starter. It's a toss up but I go with the Bayou Bengals.

Waldini:

USC beats Oregon but not without a first half scare. In the second half, reality sets in and USC handles it's business.

Miami handles Colorado. As a whole, I think the Big 12 is a joke, even withTexas being as good as it is this year. Ohio State over Iowa, simply because I do not know any of the starters or impact players on Iowa. At least I know who Troy Smith even if I dont know (and dont care) who else plays for Ohio State :-)

Va tech over GT in a squeaker. GT's offense vs VT's defense will decide the outcome of this game

Tenn over LSU b/c I dont pick against the boys :-). Seriously, Tenn's defense is legit and LSU's offense hasnt seen a D like Tenn's yet so it should be interesting. The only thing that worries me is playing at TigerField at night time. For whateva reason, LSU always plays like a champ whenever the game is ESPN televised and at night time
