That's because Matty needed elbow surgery. This year his elbow is fine, and he has increased velocity. It was a good move, even though he's not gonna get as much money this year as last, because Mr. Bush is going #1. He has no incentive to come back. He'll sign a $40-50 million contract, play for a suck team, and break people's ankles.

ahhhh, i see... play another year because of physical ailments but cite your school pride and willingness to be "just" a college student to the media as the reason for coming back. pretty smart.
